12 is the overhead door with counterweights made in pressed-and-reinforced galvanized steel, with jambs of only 6 cm. The door frame is made with an exclusive galvanised steel profile of 60 mm, in which a rubber sealing strip can be housed. It comes already assembled with a Yale - type lock with handle and internal release, cement counterweights, ropes, anchoring rag bolts and anti-fall device.

Model SPECIAL

Special is the overhead door with counterweights made in pressed-and-reinforced galvanized steel, with jambs of 12-18 cm. The door frame is made with an exclusive reinforced steel profile of 80 mm, designed to house the rubber sealing strip. It comes ready assembled complete with a Yale - type lock with handle and internal release, set-up for motor-drive unit, anti-fall system, cement counterweights, ropes, anchoring rag bolts and anti-fall device.

Thicker covering with 8/10 thick galvanized sheet steel are available on request.

Lock Protection

To oppose the fast break of the overhead door typical of the condominium box and underground parking, we have prepared this simple kit to protect the lock. Lock protection is a simple lock protection kits; available in first delivery but also in post-sales, it is applied to any overhead door in corrugated sheet, with lock in accordance with the specifications indicated. The ideal product to recommend to apartment block administrators!
It is there, but you don’t see it because of the locking points or fixing srews which don’t alter the usual external view, making “invisible” the internal protection.

Standard overhead door: the intruder, after cutting of sheet metal, sees the release lever and opens the overhead door.

Overhead door equipped with Lock Protection: the intrusion is “removed” from the lock, he doesn’t see the release lever and therefore he doesn’t open the overhead door.

Automation on board frame consisting of a 24V DC echocycle gearmotor with encoder, with a maximum power of 57W, for opening and closing door. A servant mechanism operated by a non-reversible gearmotor powered by 24V DC of the maximum absorved power of 45W, allows the first opening phase of the door and ensures an efficient closure. The new generation unit control, entirely developed by De Nardi, manages the gearmotors and the synchronism of the movements; it’s equipped with an intuitive diagnostic failure and can have the rescue buffer batteries for operation in absence of network electricity. All the electronic and electromechanical components described above, even in the presence of a pedestrian door, are located on the crossbeam and on one of the lateral uprights. The compactness of the components combined with the absence of return shafts and reaction arms, allow to the entire system to have no protrusions, ensuring a smooth passage and a design that is extremely clean and pleasant. The mobile door is supplied complete with anti-shock rubber to protect the 3 sides.

AUTOMATION ON BOARD 24V: DE NARDI by FAAC
(RESIDENTIAL AND CONDOMINIUM INTENSIVE USE)

The “GEARMOTORS DN 24” are installed exclusively on overhead doors De Nardi. Two leading companies that provide a service to the highest of quality and safety. The innovative automation device De Nardi is the thinking mind of the whole system: it manages the speeds to reduce the mechanical stress on the motors and gates; it segnals the archievement of the working cycles limit to require the maintenance; it also deals with the management of a long series of function, including: lock and unlock buttons, opening by a photocell, reversal of the motor controlled by the anti-crushing rib, photocells buffer batteries for emergency operation in the event of a power failure.

AUTOMATION ON BOARD 230V: DE NARDI BY FAAC (SHIPBUILDING USE)

In the model Pratic, the overhead door is automated with one engine. Automation consists of one or two electromechanical locks with motor 230V A.C. and high resolution encoder, connocted to the overhead door by two telescopic arms and equipped with:
-limit switches for opening and closing
-internal and/or external emergency release (commanded from the lock) for the handling in case of absence of the mains voltage.
The automation is supplied wired for the devices to the side described, with junction box to fix to the wall on the right side (internal view) and complete with power cable “schuco” type.
The electronic control unit has a detection system of the stress profile and self regulation of engine delivered to the stress profile and self regulation of engine delivered to the engine during the cycle of opening and closing in order to limit the impact forces in compliance as provided by law.
It’s also possible the automatic timed closing and the regulation of the engine power.
The mobile door is supplied with a bumper rubber to protection of the three sides in the model 12 and 16. The mobile door is supplied with a mechanical anti crushing rib to protection of the three sides in the model SPECIAL

Automation device on board, with courtesy light (max 25W) and button of opening/closing, equipped with various outputs for connecting peripherals such as:

SET UP FOR MOTOR-DRIVE UNIT ON BOARD

The overhead doors De Nardi are designed for easy, effortless manual opening. However they may be automated; in this case they are prepared to receive a motor-drive unit with the insertion of reinforcements in the areas where the motor block and telescopic arms will be fixed.

AUTOMATION IN TOW: DE NARDI by FAAC

The drive unit with chain drive is installed on the ceiling at the center of the door. The 24V gearmotor De Nardi, is commanded by an incorporated electronic control unit.
